Dear Sir/Mam After 15 plus years working directly with people in diverse settings, I am seeking to leverage my experience in a new Property Management position or and a Social Service Position. For this reason, I am submitting my resume for consideration. Ideally, your open position will allow me the opportunity to utilize my broad knowledge of Property Management and Social Services outlined in my attached resume.
My background in Social Services complements my property management skills and has led me to my current successes. I possess strong management skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail. I have proven that I am well organized, detail oriented, able to juggle many responsibilities and always willing to take that extra step to get the job done in a timely manner.
In my past position, I direct all facets of an independent living, low-income residential property and three commercial units. My scope of responsibility includes management and budgeting as well as insuring that all HUD/government policies are adhered to. I have created a positive culture in the environment and have proven that I have the ability to manage large multi-unit facilities. I have also developed from ground a Computer Learning Center, along with several programs and activities.
In addition, I have earned the “Certified Occupancy Specialist” for Edgewood Management and FPI Management. Also I have passed the required Pennsylvania Real Estate courses and plan to sit for the PA state test this year.

Awbury View Apartments, Philadelphia, Pa. Community/Property Manager 08/94 to 10/06 Responsible for the management of 125 rental units, 3 commercial units, and 4 staff members. Duties include, but are not limited to operating the property within strict financial guidelines. Implement and enforce HUD/OSHA policies. Design and implement comprehensive programs that increase safety for residents and the community by utilizing residents, police and the budget. Balancing monthly operating expenses and capital improvements.
