I am a Sr. Systems Analyst Programmer. My background includes Computer Operations, infrastructure software engineering, and Network Administration IT skills. Graduate of Northeast Louisiana University. Windows based Object Oriented Programming experience. Duties and responsibilities relevant for any IT positions involve removing threat's involving risk to computer systems integrity with timely updates and mandate of patches accessible from secure internet sources. After security vulnerabilities have been removed, further evaluation is needed for the proprietary system's found in the environment. This assessment will determine needs, such as field or data record encryption, in order to retain (sensitive) Personal Information. The mandates from HIPPA and ISO 9000 regulatory agencies, as well as, established departmental policies, are to be followed. Documentation must be kept in order to assure compliance! Testing for compliance in a database atmosphere can be accomplished with add, edit, delete and purposeful searches on known 'PI sensitivity' before deployment objectives are enforced. This is a continual process as new products are implemented, shifting standards exist, and changes in state and federal laws are recognized.
