Rich Milgram is the Founder and CEO of Beyond.com, Inc.  Since January 1998, Rich has developed and grown the company into a highly niche-specific career community that enables job seekers and employers to create targeted connections across thousands of top-tier industry and local web sites. He oversees daily operations and growth of the company, including strategic business development and technology initiatives. 

Rich can provide reliable, accurate and up-to-date information concerning national, local and industry-specific employment trends and analysis by leveraging data from Beyond.com’s Network of thousands of industry and local web sites.  He is a subject matter expert on the topics of online recruitment, software development and applications, career consulting, entrepreneurship, internet fraud, identity protection, and related topics. 

Rich has been contacted by national media outlets including Inc. Magazine, ABC News, BtoB Magazine, HR Magazine, NY Post, Newsweek and HR Executive for information.  He has appeared in two live television interviews on Fox News and has been featured on several occasions in the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Business Journal.

Rich launched a recruitment blog in 2008, Employmentmetrix.com, which was created to proactively share industry trend data, and discuss ideas and thoughts across a variety of recruitment and workplace-related topics.

He has been chosen as a finalist for Technology CEO of the Year for the past three consecutive years (2007-2009) by the Eastern Technology Council’s Enterprise Awards Program, and was also a finalist for Ernst & Young’s 2008 Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  Rich was also selected as a “40 Under 40” award recipient by Philadelphia Business Journal in 2007.

Rich first founded Beyond.com, Inc. in 1998 as PhillyJobs.com, a free job board serving the Philadelphia metro area.  At the time, he was also operating ThinkSmart Technologies, a business consulting firm.  Prior to that, he managed the internal software development team for the Comcast Corporation, building systems for the customer service, accounting, sales and finance departments.  Rich holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Boston University.
