Beyond.com, Inc. Appoints Vice President of Traffic

    Executive talent to lead natural search, paid search and online traffic generation initiatives at Beyond.com

    PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – April 16, 2008 – Beyond.com, Inc., the world’s largest network of specialty career communities, has announced the appointment of Alex Murphy as Vice President of Traffic. In his role, Alex will be responsible for growing unique job seeker and employer traffic to the Beyond.com Network by utilizing email, search, design, content and analytics.

    Alex brings more than fifteen years of experience in entrepreneurship, Internet-based sales, marketing, and operations. Over the course of his career, he has worked with several companies to develop new lead generation sources, expand customer portfolios, drive sales, and increase profitability. 

    Prior to Beyond.com, Alex held the position of Executive Vice President at Healthy Back, responsible for all eCommerce activity including online sales, marketing and operations. Previously, he was the Director of Sales, Marketing and Operations at Virginia Web Properties where he led business development efforts and assisted with the negotiation, acquisition and redesign of Job.com. Alex earned his BA in Economics from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA.
