As an IT professional with 10+ years experience I have built a highly diverse skill set.
My work experience includes, network administration, database design and management, end-users training and support as well as web design and programming skills.
I've worked for a Human Resource/Payroll software company as a tier two technical support representative, in several manufacturing & higher education environments as a senior network specialist and systems support analyst.
Along the way I've acquired extensive technical support and software trainer experience and have provided exceptional customer service and end-user support. I am a highly motivated, multi-task oriented person who is proficient in an array of software applications and am able to produce high quality work in a timely fashion.
I have a degree in Computer Information and Telecommunication Systems from Marywood University. I was a member of the computer club, president of the Chi Alpha Epsilon honor society and received the Act 101 Academic Achievement Award.
My career started as an intern at The Paper Magic Group, Inc. upon graduation was promoted to Senior Network Specialist. I was part of a small team that supported 400+ users in multiple locations, performed network administration tasks, installed and configured hardware/software and worked closely with the user community. I also served as a technical resource and trainer for both remote users and onsite personnel.
I went on to work for Ceridian as a tier two Application Support Specialist, where I was responsible for incoming calls from districts, implementation consultants and clients requiring second level technical support for Source 500 HR/Payroll software. My primary role was to assist with installs and configuration as well as, programming, networking and database troubleshooting. I also created and customized reports using Crystal Reports software.
As a Systems Analyst at Knoll I was the liaison between MIS, Human Resource and Payroll personnel. I worked across departments to assist with day-to-day use and customization of application software (Source 500 and Kronos). This included assisting with database backups as well as querying the application database, creating ad-hoc reports and importing/exporting data within the database using SQL, Data transfer utilities, AS/400 query tools and Crystal Reports software. I also worked with MIS to create, modify and maintain programs, and created end user documentation for application processes.
As a Lead/Programmer Analyst at Binghamton University I performed network administration tasks and supported 100+ users and 300+ computers. I worked closely with the network administrator developing solutions to networking issues, acted as a liaison between the user community and systems support staff.
I installed and configured hardware and software created and maintained documentation and provided end user training.
I assisted several departments in improving their workflow and overall productivity; by creating database solutions. I was the technical resource for the implementation and migration of Electronic Reserves to Blackboard and also worked with the library staff on the document delivery for inter library loan implementation.
I enjoy working with others to find solutions that make work seem well� less like work and this allows me to love what I do and do it extremely well.
