Promotion Success Story: 4Jobs and TradePub.com
Last month, we explained how e-Funda effectively used "Persistent Navigational Integration
of a Content Module" on the left navigation bar on most of their pages.
This month, we would like to share another promotion success story. 4jobs.com,
is a unique and diverse network of over 1,500 general, local and niche industry sites
designed to connect employers and business professionals owned and operated by Artemis
HR Inc. Steve Kraut, Artemis HR's VP of Business Development, has taken their TradePub
content modules to a new level. 4Jobs.com promotes three Trade Publications on the bottom
of all of their search pages and have found great success in modifying the publications
that are featured.
Kraut knows the value of presenting targeted offers to visitors and teamed up with
TradePub.com to develop a system that presents very effective category-triggered and
keyword-triggered content modules to 4Jobs.com's varied audience
(industries from accounting to construction to healthcare, to media to biotech,
to restaurants & hospitality to education, etc.).
Every month Steve receives a spreadsheet from TradePub.com of all available
publications including keyword descriptions and applicable links to his
4jobs.tradepub.com site. If someone selects "construction" in the pull-down search
window at 4jobs.com, they see publications such as Construction Distribution,
Equipment Today, and Hardwood Floors as the promoted publications underneath the search results.
If they enter "Wireless" in the Job Search Keyword box, they are met with such titles as
Wireless Systems Design, RCR Wireless News, and Wireless Week as the promoted pubs.
Kraut found that the better the match of the featured publications to his audience
and their interests, the higher the probability they would subscribe.
And the monthly updates from TradePub ensure that he is always promoting strong
available publications.
