Report: Service sector job demand is strong in Ohio

Technology, engineering and other service sectors are asking for more workers to join their ranks, according to a new report.
According to 4Jobs.com Career Network, businesses in Ohio were asking for workers in the technology field more than any other sector during the first quarter of this year. The second most popular job posting was for people in engineering and architectural fields. Third was sales and sales management jobs.
The Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services also points to a strong service sector. It said growth in service-providing industries created 5,100 jobs in Dayton in February 2005 compared with February 2004.
4Jobs.com Career Network is based in Philadelphia and has more than 6,000 employment listings.
