Have you ever had one of those days when it feels like you have the most stressful job ever? I have. Those are the days that make me crazy. But, for me, the best thing to do is to remember all of the people who have jobs that are much more stressful. It lets me take my frustration down a notch and gives me a little more perspective on my problems.
If you think that you have the most stressful job ever, here are 4 jobs more stressful than yours:
Soldier - Being away from your family is tough. Add harsh living conditions to it, and it is a very tough job. That's if no one's shooting at you. In fact, one in eight soldiers returning from Iraq are reported as having symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
Air Traffic Controller - This job is known for its constant high level of stress. The job requires long hours of paying very close attention to one thing. Air traffic controllers are responsible for keeping everyone safe, and one mistake can cost lives. In addition, they work in semi-darkness and often work alone.
Coal Miner - These people have to climb into dark holes and do physical work. They inhale dust and dirt while they work. There is also a risk of cave-ins. Coal miners put stress on their health every time they work.
Firefighter - Firefighters often work erratic schedules, making it harder to get regular sleep or have a normal family life. In addition, the job is physically demanding and has a large risk of injury.
What jobs do you think are particularly stressful? Please share your thoughts in the comments.

@Carol and @ Teresa, nursing is a super stressful job. It should certainly be number five on the list. Depending on the type of nursing, you have to deal with patients who may not want your help, families who are upset and coping with severe stress and you still have to nurture yourself in order to still have something left to give your family. It's a tough job and we should all be grateful for the dedicated people who work in nursing. They make a huge difference everyday.

That are indeed stressful jobs, also being a nurse is a stressful job especially if there are only few nurses in a certain hospital. Being a student is also a stressful thing though it is not a job.

Nursing is very stressful because you not only have to take care of the patient but you have to deal with families, Drs and others all at the same time.
