Deloitte Recognizes Beyond.com with National and Regional Awards

Revenue growth powers Beyond.com to #1 ranking on Deloitte Fast 50, and strong placement among the Deloitte Fast 500 and Philadelphia 100 for 2007

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – October 26, 2007 – Beyond.com, Inc., the largest network of online niche career communities, has been recognized by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP as the #1 company on the 2007 Greater Philadelphia Technology Fast 50 list. In addition to receiving the top spot on the regional list of fastest growing companies, Beyond.com has also been ranked #29 on Deloitte’s national Technology Fast 500 List. The company attributes the growth to the increasing recognition of the benefits of niche career communities by both employers and job seekers which has been pivotal to the expansion of its network.

The 2007 Greater Philadelphia Technology Fast 50 is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the Greater Philadelphia region, based on percentage of revenue growth over the past five years. Deloitte’s 2007 Technology Fast 500 List recognizes companies from the same industries across the entire nation. Beyond.com experienced a revenue growth of 6,099 percent from 2002-2006, which resulted in the notable rankings on both of Deloitte’s prestigious lists.

In the same week and for the second consecutive year, Beyond.com has ranked#16 on the 2007 Top 100 fastest growing, privately-held companies in the Philadelphia region by the Philadelphia 100®, a joint project of the Wharton Small Business Development Center, the Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Business Journal. As with the Deloitte awards, Philadelphia 100 rankings are based on verifiable revenue growth.

“It has been an exciting year for Beyond.com and we are honored to be recognized among many strong and successful businesses, both nationally and locally,” said Rich Milgram, CEO of Beyond.com, Inc. “This year we recognized several major milestones, including a partnership with Safeguard Scientifics, acquisition of TechCareers.com and the addition of key resources and relationships which have been instrumental in helping us achieve this level of growth and recognition.”

In addition to these three prominent awards, Beyond.com has also been named to the 2007 Inc. 500 by Inc. Magazine. Beyond.com CEO Rich Milgram has also been chosen as a finalist for the 2007 Technology CEO of the Year by the Eastern Technology Council and was a recipient of the 2007 40 Under 40 Award from the Philadelphia Business Journal.
