Decision to be made within the next 5 days!! Start date approx 2 months out. LVN/LPN needed for new position created to support existing medical team. Days, Monday through Friday,approx 30 hours weekly, 8a-2:30p, NO WEEKENDS!! Candidate will be working in a clinic/office type setting located within the prison in Big Spring, TX. Staff is safe in secured clinic setting, seeing patients for sudden and chronic illness. NO supervision of imates by LVN/LPN is required. Scope of work customary with standard LVN/LPN work, including patient teaching, counseling, recognizing and reporting abnormal lab values, venipuncture, and EKGs. Candidate works closely with infectious disease coordinator to maintain compliance with policies.Also provides documentation and compliance with patient confidentiality.
