This position is a dynamic hands-on role requiring a hard working, go-getter that likes the challenge of tackling projects big and small.
Location: Harrisonburg, VA
As the Director of Sales you will be responsible for:
. Growing both existing and new sales, delivering the overall annual sales number for the company.
. Overseeing the planning and execution of retail sales initiatives of our product lines.
. Supervision of both our field and customer service teams.
. Ensuring that our product mix is optimized at the store level.
. Developing and utilizing sales data to effectuate optimum program performance and maximum continuous growth of our product lines.
Accountable for total sales, same store / account growth, pricing, promotional program implementation, merchandising implementation, customer service, forecasting, customer relationships, and much more.
Reports to the CEO.
Candidates:
. B.S. in Marketing or higher, business or related discipline.
. Minimum of ten years sales management experience with background selling to the Supermarket, produce or other perishable goods industry.
. Experience managing teams a must.
. Excellent multi-tasking capabilities, attention to detail, and superior organizational and interpersonal skills.
. Must have a demonstrated ability to use sales data analysis to achieve existing account growth objectives.
. Experience with CRM software a plus.
