| Job Title: Japanese Cook Wage: $ 13.00/hour Location: For New and soon-to-open at 4350 Albert St. Regina SK S4S 3R9 (South Location) How to Apply: Send resume to mailto: , mail or drop off resume at East Wasabi, located at 2577 Quance St. E, Regina , look for Chris Park Main Duties: - Cook dishes for authentic Japanese Tepan style grilling; rice and make all kinds of sushi - Prepare and cook fried food including Tenpura - Schedule, supervise and oversee kitchen staff and operations - Prepare food using proper food safety techniques for customers - Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment - Schedule and oversee buffet and catering services - Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs/ monitor and order supplies - May hire and train kitchen staff Requirement: - Education: Completion of Secondary School - Skills & Experience: Must have 1-2 years of experience preparing and cooking Japanese cuisine & Sushi making e - Ability to explain and implement verbal and written instruction for kitchen staff
