Must be familiar withalignmentand set-up procedures of video recorder to ensure that signals to be recorded are compatible with machine requirements; must also verify quality of recording and its suitability for editing and playback. Confers with technical director and video operator during recording. Works with production staff during editing. Edits videotape, both physical and electronic. Determines quality of videotape raw stock and video recording heads. Familiar with multi-track audio recording and state of the art equipment as well.
Required Skills/Experience Two years experience in Broadcast videotape, including at least one year of editing experience. Familiarity with latest VTR techniques, such as electronic editing and animation, use of electronic time code, etc/ Job Status Full Time
