    Location and team

    DNV KEMA's Sustainable Use group is seeking an energy engineering project manager to be based in our Burlington, MA office. This individual will be expected to be a mid-to-senior level contributor and manager on energy efficiency program impact evaluations. The successful candidate will perform complex analysis, advanced data collection, lead field teams, manage projects, train and mentor junior staff, provide technical expertise, and interface with important clients.

    Tasks may include

    • Managing studies involving energy savings, technologies, policy, and economic impacts
    • Leading field data collection, technical data analyses, and engineering measurement activities
    • Managing a team of consultants and/or subcontractors
    • Supervising, training, and mentoring a team of technical consultants, engineers, and analysts
    • Leading teams to collectively complete tasks on time and under budget
    • Tracking and reviewing project deliverables to ensure timeliness and quality
    • Presenting the methodology and results of the evaluation through written reports
    • Managing to client expectations and building client relationships
    • Supporting business development opportunities and proposal writing

    What we're asking

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Architectural Engineering
    • 5+ years of experience managing energy-efficiency projects and assessing technical impacts
    • Experience planning, managing, and performing research projects in a consulting environment
    • Demonstrated ability to manage clients, staff, and tasks to quality, budget, and deadlines
    • Excellent written and oral English communication skills for client and team communication
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
    • Graduate degree and/or Professional Engineer license preferred
    • 10+ years of experience in energy-efficiency program impact evaluation advantageous
    • First-hand experience performing electrical measurement and verification and analyzing/reporting said data is greatly preferred
    This is a US-based position; applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S.
