GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Contractor is responsible for performing diversified and confidential receptionist and administrative duties related to the general business of Availity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Answers, screens & forwards incoming calls, relaying messages in a timely manner Receives all guests, assigns temporary badges and securing a signature in accordance with company security policy Schedules meetings, reserves conference rooms, prepares agendas Works closely with other Administrative Assistants to ensure that the office functions smoothly Ensures the busy front office area is organized, clear and welcoming for guests WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Required) Minimum 3-5 years combination of receptionist/front desk and progressive administrative experience Mastery level experience of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Extensive knowledge of operation of various office equipment (PCs, printers, copiers, fax machines, telephones) and mobile phones (PDAs) Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written Organized, with a keen attention to details Able to work successfully under pressure, able to multi-task and maintain composure & professionalism in an environment with frequent interruptions Must be flexible and embrace change Experience managing & aligning multiple calendars via Outlook Experience coordinating travel arrangements WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Preferred) Experience working in a healthcare industry and/or technical environment Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION (Required) High School diploma or equivalent EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION (Preferred) Associates Degree, 1-2 years of college, or 2 years of post-secondary business school
