This position is funded from the Commonwealth's annual operating budget.Duties:
Manage and supervise the day to day operations of the Secure Treatment Program at SBCC. This includes the delivery (in conjunction with the Clinical Program Director) of all aspects of therapeutic and treatment programming. Establish and maintain appropriate security and therapeutic protocols and attempt to maximize utilization. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have at least (A) five years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, supervisory or managerial experience in business administration, business management, or public administration and (B) of which at least one year must have been in a managerial capacity.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: None.
Five (5) years of correctional or criminal justice experience. Thorough knowledge of supervisory/management techniques, interpersonal skills, and written/verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of the Department of Correction?s operating procedures, security management, classification, and treatment assessment. Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities within a highly charged, high risk, stressful environment.
