- Extensive After Effects, Maya and/or Cinema4D work on a daily basis (often involving Mental Ray and/or Vray) - Regularly translate project details and creative direction into high level animation solutions - Responsible for the creation of new elements as well as mass-production/updates to existing files - working with in-house/out-of-house existing files or creating new unique elements - Regular use of Qube-based Renderfarm - Utilize Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Mudbox, Brainstorm Virtual as project needs dictate - Holds oneself to a high level of project file management in order to keep final project files appropriately archived and easy to navigate through for future use. - Helps diagnose animation equipment/project file malfunctions and troubleshoot solutions with appropriate personnel. - Works primarily on Windows-based network & Win-7 64 Professional-based individual workstations. - Maintains thorough knowledge of rendering specifications for HD, NTSC & PAL delivery formats. - Maintains high standards of communication, efficiency, consistency, accuracy, technical ability and creativity - Mentor and provide animation skills leadership for less experienced staff members - Candidates must be highly motivated, work well under pressure, effectively prioritize multiple assignments, and consistently meet all deadlines - Participate in at least 32 hours of supplemental training/shadowing each year to promote personal growth and understanding of other departments and workflows - Required to work flexible hours, days of the week as assignments dictate - Adheres to all administrative responsibilities including time entry and daily reporting requirements.
