Heli-One, the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) division of CHC Helicopter is looking for Apprentice Engines Technician(s). This position assists in the complete overhaul process of applicable engines.
Responsibilities: * Utilize the instructions of applicable approved manuals used to carry out the tasks assigned under the supervision of a Licensed Engine Technician * Perform tasks required to repair or overhaul units being worked on under supervision of an Engines Technician * International travel may be required. * May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience: * Currently enrolled in a Gas Turbine Course * Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information * Must be self-motivated and have the ability to process complex systems and logically think through problems * Results oriented with a focus on quality * Computer literate * Good physical condition * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to take direction and follow instructions * Work Shifts / weekends as required
