Art Director
A 25-year-old magazine publishing company specializing in the travel and 50+ markets, is searching for an experienced art director to lead the design and layout work for the company's magazines.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a magazine publishing environment and will oversee and direct the design standards for all of the company's publications.
The art director will work hands-on in designing pages for all sections of the magazine and will be instrumental in the layout, design and production of the magazines.
Interested candidates should be proficient in Photoshop and QuarkXPress or InDesign.
Knowledge of color management and digital pre-press is a plus.
The position requires attention to detail, good communication and project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a self-sufficient environment. 5+ years of magazine publishing experience highly preferred.
