Art Director
A fashion and entertainment ad agency is in need of a freelance and or Freelance to perm art directors with strong Design skills. You will be Building comps with existing photography from a pre existing shoot and comps for a musical dramedy and more. Must be Photoshop expert, TV, theatrical experience.
- Four-year college degree. Major in graphic design.
Computer Skills:
- Highly proficient in Quark Express, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Flash and HTML. Proficient in use of Macintosh systems. Standard office equipment.
- Three to five year's experience. A combination of both agency and corporate (free-lance ok).
- Must have experience coordinating photography and typography productions with layout and design exposure. Ability to work under intense deadline pressures.
- Luxury fashion or consumer goods experience required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partners with the Director of Visual, Merchandising Director and others to manage the advertisement production process including the planning and implementation of:
- Photography shoots
- Mailers
- Brochures
- Catalogues
- Advertisements and all collateral
- Keeps abreast of current creative marketing trends.
- Coordinates with contracted services as necessary to handle workload overflow.
- Reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Visual Dept.
- Merchandising Department when producing photo shoots, mailers, etc.
