• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5 to 7 years business sales experience or sales experience in a related field with proven results.
• 5 to 7 years business sales management experience or management experience in a related field.

**Position may be located in a VZW location where E&G space is available, preferably in New Jersey.**This strategic position is responsible for driving Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Vertical Solutions Partners and Value Added Solution Sales to achieve goals including increasing ARPU, managing churn and increasing market penetration in our M2M verticals. Responsibilities include the management and development of a team of Sales members including hiring and motivating, coaching and managing team to meet and exceed key performance objectives. Ensure customers receive top levels of service to promote Verizon Wireless as the market leader in the wireless solution/partner channel industry.
1. Performance Management: This position is responsible for driving the Vertical Solutions (M2M) Partners and Value added solutions across multiple verticals to achieve sales goals including, increasing market penetration as well as ARPU and managing churn. Ensure customers receive top levels of service to promote Verizon Wireless as the market leader in the wireless industry. Forecast, report and evaluate territories to identify opportunities to increase growth and revenue. Execute sales strategies and take part in the selling solution process by establishing strategic working relationships with potential and existing customers that qualify as a vertical solution partner. Build strategies that help support switching from other technologies to CDMA and recommend additional M2M solution partners to HQs product and operational teams. Strategize with your customers on the evolution of 4G LTE and technical support on manufacturing process needs to align with VZW business requirements. Promote Verizon Wireless as the market leader in the wireless industry. Work with sales team and client on contract negotiations.
2. Operations Management: Manage process including negotiating contracts with Regional and HQ Finance and Legal and partnering with Customer Service to ensure corporate customers receives the highest standards of service. Develop strong working relationships and keep lines of communication open across Sales Operations and cross functional support departments. Responsible for managing the overall operations and budget. Analyze reports / sales results as well as market conditions and develop action plans designed to increase solution sales productivity. Define new processes for channel operations. Special projects as assigned including system and process enhancements to effectively and efficiently manage business. Utilize lead generation and partner program tools to manage accounts while providing feedback on partner or process improvements.
3. Staffing and Employee Relations: Foster leadership qualities in Sales members. Take action based on reports to improve performance. Responsible for management, staffing and operations. Make decisions regarding hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions. Coach, train and motivate team to achieve high performance results.
4. Customer Retention: Ensure that vertical solution partners are treated with the highest levels of courtesy and professionalism. Resolves customer/VSP issues in a timely and empathetic manner. Maintain and grow existing customer base and manage churn.
5. Market and Industry Knowledge: Analyze sales results reporting and strategize methods to increase productivity and increase market share. Prepare executive summary reviews and updates.
