Southwest Dealer Services - Automotive General Sales Manager (GSM)

OPPORTUNITY TO EARN $200,000/YEAR FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!



Southwest Dealer Services is currently looking to for an experienced Automotive General Sales Manager in the Kansas City market! We are looking for a TOP performing General Sales Manager with a proven track record of success.  We are willing to pay above industry value for a top performer, and offer the opportunity to move up within our Automotive Group.  Qualified applicants must be highly motivated, work well in structured environment, and be able to manage 8 sales managers and finance managers to peak performance.   We will also cover relocation expenses for the right applicant.

Responsibilities:

·    Hire all management positions, complete performance evaluations and develop short and long-term goals for each department manager.

·    Develop, implement and monitor all Sales, Follow-up, and Training processes.

·    Effectively communicate with the comptroller/office manager to review department forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections.

·    Monitor daily operations, make changes where necessary.

·    Explain the policies and procedures of the dealership to all employees and follow up with employees to ensure that these issues are understood and followed.

·    Provide dealership management with weekly reports on the financial condition of the dealership.

·    Oversee the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the management/dealership owners.

·    Coordinate with the business/administrative office to ensure that records and analyses are correctly maintained.

·    Create a working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturers.

·    Coordinate regular meetings with the managers of each department.

·    Oversee the hiring and training of all department managers.

·    Maintaining an enthusiastic attitude to build positive employee attitudes and morale.

·    Create cost-effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealership.
