Bilingual (Spanish) Customer Service  Representative

 

Job Purpose

 

SYKES Home Powered by Alpine Access Bilingual (Spanish) Customer Care Professionals, who work on programs, serve as the primary point of contact for members and non-members on all matters related to membership, and non-member Services, Inc. products and services relevant to the 50+ population. Associates will provide members with high quality service that builds relationships, resolves their issues and results in member satisfaction.  You will need to be fluent in BOTH English and Spanish. Position is a virtual work@home job.

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide customer service to effectively attend to new and renewing memberships
  • Capture data and enter clearly and accurately
  • Successfully transition escalated member inquiries into positive interactions
  • Follow through on all calls
  • Manages difficult or emotional customer situations
  • Responds promptly to customer needs
  • Build relationships with members that creates a positive member experience that ultimately fosters loyalty and trust
  • Diffuse irate customers
  • Identify needs and provide prompt resolution to inquiries and problems


Competencies

  • Fluent in BOTH English and Spanish
  • Customer service oriented skills and ability
  • Express flexibility to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions
  • Listens and resolves problems in a timely manner and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listens and gets clarification
  • Develop strong rapport with caller early in the contact
  • Meets commitments
  • Experience using Windows and Internet web browsing computer applications
  • Excellent data entry and listening skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment, talking to customers while simultaneously accessing the computer system
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in the workplace
