Business Analyst III

This position programs budget planning efforts of the organization's activities. Specific work activities will include: * Prepare fiscal year spend plans, and provide sufficient justification to ensure full Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) appropriation was received* Compile budget requirements to forecast future needs for Transformation Priorities and Requirements (TP&R) Supply Chain Management Directorate and obligate funds in a timely manner to ensure continuous support on all contracts* Maintain budget, ensuring appropriate Program Objective Memorandum (POM) documentation was prepared to comply with Planning, Programming Budget and Execution (PPBE) processes, meeting or exceeding OSD benchmarks* Coordinate with external organizations to ensure funding documentation was received in a timely manner in order to post documents to the accounting system Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI)* Utilize Electronic Document Access (EDA) on a regular basis to retrieve contract modifications and pertinent information to current contracts as well as contracts in the close-out process* Develop individual spreadsheets to track invoicing, anticipate future funding needs and provide leadership with cost estimates* Assist in ensuring contract performance was in accordance with the Statement of WorkMinimum Requirements: * Candidate should have a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 6-10 years of experience* Four years of directly related experience can be substituted for the degree* Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Project * Experience with preparing fiscal year Government Directorate spend plans and compiling and tracking budget requirementsCandidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America without sponsorship.
