  • Large Landscaping firm is seeking a Business Development & Account Executive for its Commercial Property Maintenance, Commercial Snow Removal and high-end Residential Property Maintenance divisions. The main responsibilities will be to generate leads, sales and business development for these divisions, as well as Account Management. The candidate must be extremely organized and have excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate will also have a positive attitude, be a fast learner, be able to resolve problems independently and efficiently, manage multiple jobs simultaneously, and thrive in a fast paced environment.

    Essential Functions & Areas of Responsibility

    • Generate leads, sales and develop new business

    • Maintain quality control for all Property Maintenance accounts and Snow Removal accounts including on-site evaluations of crews and services

    • Ensure client satisfaction; interact and maintain client relations with professionalism

    • Supervise and coordinate multiple service crews, sub-contractors and vendors

    • Create proposals and estimates within submission deadlines

    • Ensure proper equipment and manpower is available for the successful execution of service during snow events (this will require on-site management during snow events)

    • Build a book of long term business

    • Attend company networking events and represent the company

    • Learn and master company computer programs with ease


    Required Education & Experience

    • Bachelor degree OR 2 year degree in Landscape Contracting/Design, Horticulture or related field

    • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Property Maintenance, Account Management, Plant Identification, Horticulture and/or Landscape Design/Contracting

    • Minimum of 1-3 years Sales experience

    Necessary Skills & Requirements:

    • Computer proficient including use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ability to learn new software with ease

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

    • Exceptional time management, organizational & problem solving skills

    • Candidate must have references and valid driver�s license
