Minimum Requirements: Associates degree or completion of technical school courses in Autodesk AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation products. A minimum four years relevant civil drafting or design experience. Bachelor's degree can substitute for fours years of experience. Advanced technical knowledge of drafting techniques and training in CAD and spreadsheet software. Intermediate understanding within a specific discipline. Job Description: Under general direction, provides advanced drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining blueprints, maps and engineering, civil or mechanical drawings. Prepares designs and estimates from general instruction and/or preliminary sketches, diagrams or schematics. May recommend modifications and changes for design improvement and simplification. Prepares working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed finished product. Coordinates computer aided drafting (CAD) projects with other discipline personnel. Prepares and assembles project deliverables, Develops simple to mid-level designs/layouts. Prepares simple design calculations.
Position requires effective time-management, written communications skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate will be articulate with professional presence, with solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills. Oil and gas experience including well pad design and infield gathering line/pipeline layout and design preferred. EOE M/F/D/V
