Clinical Psychologist
Now interviewing Psychologists for the Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Program at the Naval Branch Health Clinic at Camp Pendleton.
The ideal candidate will:
• Apply principles and techniques to problems of human effectiveness, maladjustment, and psychological disturbances; and evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
• Apply psychological interventions in multiple medical clinics and settings to include Pain Clinic, Mental Health Clinic, and the Wounded Warrior Battalion.
• Assist in treating rehabilitation patients.
• Interview patients and study medical and social case histories.
• Diagnose and evaluate mental and emotional disorders of individuals and administer programs of treatment and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Education and Experience :
• Successful completion of a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Medicine or Health Psychology.
• Certification in Clinical Health Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. (May obtain obtain within 8 months)
• Possess a doctoral degree or counseling psychology, or equivalent, from an accredited university approved by the American Psychological Association.
• Possess current and unrestricted license from one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
