CNC Progammer
The CNC Programmer is responsible for the numerical control programming of machined parts and the generation of all supporting documentation.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Skills:
Working knowledge of 5-axis milling and lathe programming using CATIA V5, NCL, or MasterCam.
Must be able to create shop documents defining setup instructions including tools and tooling requirements and fixturing methods.
Must be responsive to process and equipment deficiencies to maintain scrap levels below standard.
Continuously audit product quality and monitor operator quality check sheets to ensure conformance to specifications.
Work directly with Engineering and Manufacturing departments for the operations readiness of new and existing products and components.
Generate shop books to communicate with shop personnel the methods and tools required for proper setup of jobs.
Special Knowledge or Abilities Required:
Technical Ability - Expert knowledge of blueprints and building models from prints, and ability to build tooling to facilitate all aspects of the manufacturing process.
Computer Skills – Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and MRP/ERP software.
Experience required: 3 to 5 years in a job shop environment.
