This requisition reflects several positions for our new tower (opening Spring 2013) with staggered start dates between July 2012-January 2013. CT Technologist:
Reporting to the Manager. Serves as a resource to other technologists. Provides computer-assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physician according to established standards and practices. May prepare patient for imaging by administering contrast IV and non IV. Should be familiar with Imaging Gently and/or ALARA practices to promote low dose, high quality exams. Technologist focused on infant, children and adolescent patients, as well as adults. All imaging staff must be able to address family and patient concerns to help facilitate a Family Centered Care approach. Qualifications: This position requires:

- Graduate from an AMA approved education program in Radiologic Technology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography - ARRT (R)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography - ARRT (CT)
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist license (CRT)
- California Fluoroscopy Permit
- American Heart Association BLS
- Venipuncture Certification recognized by CDPH-RHB
- Three to five years working in an acute care, pediatric environment is preferred
