Customer Training Specialist 3\4
Position is Customer Training Expert for the Mission Communications and Data Systems installed on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)certified 757, 737NG aircraft. Job requires both course development (ability to read engineering drawings is critical) and teaching / instructing. Travel is required.
Other tasks/skills for the job include: The ability to provide hands on training using system hardware/software; The ability to provide training on troubleshooting techniques; The ability to estimate and schedule assigned tasks associated with Class I & Class II changes to the current fleet configuration that impact current training assignments; Ability to conduct analysis to evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives, design; Ability to develop, conduct and evaluate effectiveness of technical training; Ability to use Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint); Ability to Use specialized software technology (Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval System (REDARS,) FrameMaker, Acrobat Professional & FastDoc) to research, configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing media and materials; Ability to gather data to support proposal/development activities. Conducts analysis to evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives, design. Oversees activities the development, delivery and evaluation of technical training. Establishes processes for identifying training content and evaluating training effectiveness. Uses specialized software technology (REDARS, Word, Frame & FastDoc) to research, configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing media and materials. Gathers data to support complete proposal development activities.
Ensures accuracy and quality of training products. Coaches and develops others. Works under minimal direction. Strong avionics background or aircraft maintenance a plus. Basic Qualifications For ConsiderationDo you have at least 4 years Mission Communications and Data Systems experience for commercial or military aircraft?
Do you have at least 2 years experience as a teacher, trainer, and/or instructor?
Typical Education/Experience
Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
Experience in Documentum, FrameMaker, & FastDoc software applications a plus. Strong avionics background is a plus. Travel required. Ability to Obtain Interim and/or Final Clearances (Post Start) - US Citizenship Required
