Data Entry Clerk
Atlantic Diagnostic Labs is seeking a full-time Data EntryClerk for 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 12: 00 AM) to enter patient demographics, as well as, diagnostic and test codes. Ensure all requisition forms and billing data sheets are scanned daily. Review all work for validity of data entered and correct all errors immediately after ordering tests. Resolve and document all discrepancies found on order requisitions.
Requirements:
High School diploma required.
Must possess a minimum of two years data entry experience within a clinical environment, preferably a hospital or laboratory.
Working knowledge of ICD9/CPT coding is strongly preferred.
Proficient in use of computers and keyboarding, including prior experience with scanning software, preferably DocStar.
Ability to work quickly and accurately within time constraints.
Able to type a minimum of 70 wpm accurately.
Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate rapidly changing needs of a growing organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong problem solving and resolution abilities.
Strong oral and written communication and listening skills.
Ability to meet aggressive productivity standards.
Must be available to work on a Saturday rotation schedule.
