Selected candidates will get to be part of an exciting Information Technology team which supports Boeing as an Aerospace Leader. As a member of the integrated Boeing IT team, the new employee will contribute to the design, creation, and maintenance of company databases that satisfy the functional and operational needs of the customers. Candidate is required to have extensive operational background in establishing and implementing operational standards for installing and maintaining/patching Oracle binaries, establishing and implementing DB monitoring, DB backup/recovery, access management, performance troubleshooting, DB upgrades, DB migrations, test, and validation in a large scale enterprise implementation. Has expert level knowledge in advanced Oracle capabilities such as multi-node Linux RAC implementation, Golden Gate, RAT, advanced compression, etc. Consult with architects, technical specialist, and industry experts to establish organizational and company-wide DB standards. Act as a consultant to Sr. Management in DB technical and organizational trends and strategies to deliver more secure, stable, and cost effective DB Service to Boeing Enterprise. Candidate must have strong leadership and communication skills (with executives, management, and technical team) and have the ability to lead cross-functional and enterprise-wide projects. Candidate needs to be dynamic, self-starter, have the ability to leverage complexity of large corporation to their benefit and have the ability to understand business needs across the enterprise and merge with industry trends to deliver functionally excellent service to Boeing business units. Data center migration experience is a plus. New hires will participate in a comprehensive on-boarding process to help transition them to Boeing and Information Technology.

Basic Qualifications For ConsiderationDo you have a minimum of 7 years Oracle DB administration work related experience?
Do you have a minimum of 1 year experience leading a team of IT professionals in either an operational setting (sustaining) or as a project technical lead role?
Do you have a minimum of 1 year experience installing and/or maintaining Oracle 11G RAC in production?
Do you have experience installing, configuring and operating within at least two of the following Oracle technologies: Golden Gate, Real Application Testing (RAT), OEM, Data Guard?
Typical Education/Experience
Level 4 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. Level 5 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
