Digital Photo-Video Editor
The Digital Photo-Video Editor will be responsible to:
- Oversee photo and video needs for the site and its digital platforms. - Hire and manage pool of freelancers. - Work with editors, reporters and news managers to assign shoots. - Though this predominantly is an assignment, editing and online multimedia position, the candidate must be skilled at shooting and editing photos/video. - Produce online galleries and other content. - Keep informed of current events, take part in planning process and propose stories to be covered. - Understand and follow the process of creative photojournalism and editing. - Help coordinate coverage and Local Media development. - Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
