MTV Networks is currently conducting a search for a Director, Casting and Talent, based in Santa Monica, our West Coast HQ. The Director, Casting and Talent is in charge of ensuring that every role is filled by the best actor for the job. The Director will primarily deal with agents and talent managers and must have strong negotiation skills and rock solid relationships and will also lead casting for our original scripted television programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all Casting and Talent Management on West Coast Partners with East Coast Casting and Talent team Discover and Develop new talent Build, develop and maintain relationships with established and up and coming talent and their representation Interact with all departments throughout the company, therefore the ability to build strong relationships, anticipate needs, and deliver results is essential Develop the creative logistics involving talent, and have creative input into these shows
