Job Description

Director of Admissions / Marketing







JOB PURPOSE:�Assist the Administrator/Executive Director in managing the referral, sales and admissions process. Responsibilities guide the marketing program to ensure 24/7 inquiry responsiveness; strong customer, referrer and payer satisfaction; referral development; a positive public image; maximization of revenue; and achievement of census goals.



� Utilizes market analysis data in Silver Springs area to identify new business and potential opportunities.�

� Recognizes barriers to admission, responds appropriately and follows up on potential admissions.�

� Understands healthcare operations, legal guidelines, competitive analysis, and market place trends�

� Provides in-services and professional presentations for referral sources, community groups and other organizations, regarding Oak View's services, programs and outcomes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of two years experience in sales or marketing or customer service, preferably in the health care field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel required. Must relate well to employees, residents and visitors. Proven record of effective external sales, preferably with physicians, hospitals, and other referral sources. Must be reliable, have exemplary follow up, communications skills, and overall professionalism.
