ValueCentric provides a web-based inventory management and analysis application providing a “one of a kind” software solution to an industry that is constantly growing and evolving.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to fill a Director of Marketing position. This is a newly created position within our continually growing company. This position will be responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops annual marketing and service plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
Business and market development.
Market research and planning.
Strategic direction for promotion and advertising.
Ensures marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements.
Coordination with product management and sales.
Prepares presentations to explain the Company’s current and future strategies.
Hiring and directing the day-to-day activities of marketing staff.
Qualifications / Training:
Proven supervisory experience.
Exceptional communication skills.
Proficient knowledge of Excel, problem solving and analytical skills required.
Strong analytical and presentation skills required. Must to be able to move projects through cross-functional teams.
An attention to detail is essential.
Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. MBA is a plus.
5-10 years experience in a marketing leadership position.
