Director of Marketing
Successful Luxury Apparel Company is looking for a talented Director of Marketing who will responsible for the development and execution of the brand marketing strategy. This person will develop and manage all marketing programs to include: Digital, Social Media, CRM database, PR, Product Placement, Brand Identity, Print Creative, Seasonal Image Books, In-store collateral, In-store events, Media, Market Research, Trade Shows and all efforts to build brand awareness.
RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
- Work closely with Chief Executive Officer and Chief Creative Officer to understand specific marketing goals and objectives, prioritize initiatives and allocate marketing resources as appropriate.
- Develop and execute innovative digital and social media branding initiatives in order to create buzz, further engage our customer, grow friends/followers, and build loyalty.
- Lead development and analysis of CRM database to improve customer understanding, strengthen customer acquisition and retention efforts.
- Develop PR strategy and drive the PR plan. Lead Media relations efforts across all forms of media.
- Lead product placement efforts that translate into media coverage.
- Develop and execute seasonal marketing strategies including photo shoots, image books, brand books, line books, in-store collateral, sign packages and in-store events.
- Work with President in planning and executing trade shows.
- Manage Media planning and media buying.
- Conduct annual marketing research study to continue to understand the customer and brand perception.
- Oversee marketing calendar to ensure fully integrated programs are planned and executed timely.
- Oversee departmental projects and manage workflow from inception to execution while meeting deadlines.
- Manage Marketing budget including monthly forecast updates to stay on track and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with other departments including wholesale sales, retail team, merchandising, design, finance and operations.
