Director of Music Content
Major Network is seeking a Director of Music to oversee the content and programming of all of its music radio station digital properties (web, mobile, texting, etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for all editorial content, setting tone, composition, voice, look and feel and overseeing final content of all text, images, video and interactive material
- Establishing regular, recurring editorial features and franchises and schedules for all properties
- Maintain and develop relationships with music industry and record labels
- Maintain relationships with CBS RADIO's on-air format captains
- Recruiting, selecting, and appointing editorial staffers and freelancers
- Create comprehensive editorial schedule for both text and non-text content including interactive quizzes, polls, galleries, slide shows, etc.
- Determining overall policies of editorial coverage, including style, type, frequency, length, intended audiences, and expected contributors
- Assigning blog posts, packages and articles to the appropriate format editor, coordinating the editing process, setting and enforcing deadlines
- Establish, develop and maintain group's editorial, conceptual and writing standards via compelling and clear executive direction
