The primary role of the Director of State Operations (DSO) is to assist the state director and regional directors, as assigned, in the operational, service delivery, public relations and marketing aspects of the state for the purpose of maintaining excellence in service delivery and efficient operations.
Essential Job Functions :

- Develop and implement a contract compliance system that assures maintenance of the requirements (both internal and external)
- Fulfill the responsibilities of Regional Director during any interim that shall occur due to the resignation, termination or leave of a RD for any given region in the state
- Provide assigned training to FCS or State Management Team members
- Assume coordination, reporting and in some cases, development and implementation responsibilities for special projects and statewide grants - short or long term as they shall be assigned
- Assume specifically assigned marketing and public relations tasks, such as presentation, preparation of marketing material, conference attendance and marketing and meetings with contractors and managers
- Assist State Director with Training and development processes of all staff within the state
Requirements/Experience :
• Masters' Degree in a Human Services field
• Licensed in Clinical Services
• Two-years of supervision experience preferred
Other Skills and Abilities :
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to remain confidential of company business
