Responsibilities: As a Production Supervisor the incumbent is primarily responsible for overseeing the team that is producing quality e-discovery deliverables as defined in the project specifications and directed by the Project Manager.. He/She requires minimal supervision and focuses on detail e-Discovery Data (EDD) processing activities performed by all categories of Production Specialists. This position reports directly to the Director, Production Operations. * Produce quality deliverables as defined in the project specifications on Project Intake form. * Communicate detailed job specifications with project leads * Prioritize workload assignments and resolve any conflicts that may arise within the team * Manages workload and schedules overtime when appropriate * Familiar with SQL stored procedures and batch files * Responsible for ensuring compliance that all Quality Control and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) are understood and followed * Report and follow-up on defects in a timely manner * Assist in development of SOPs and training materials * Document issues and risks and report any inefficiencies or suggestions for improved process automation to Director, Production Operations * Provide reporting as requested * Ensure development of team members technical skills * Deliver a quality product on time, within budget that meet or exceed the client requirements and expectations * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Meet periodic objectives and project milestones * Foster a team work environment * Self develop in technical, business, and analytic areas * Improve cross-application/work center knowledge
Qualifications: * B.S. or a B.A. degree in a technology curriculum or commensurate technical work experience * 3 – 5 years experience in a technical field * 3 – 5 years of prior supervisory or management responsibilities * Understanding of the EDRM Reference Model and lifecycle * Experienced in using e-Discovery processing tools such as LexisNexis Law, PreDiscovery, IPro, and Nuix * Experienced in administering review tools such as Concordance, Summation, Ringtail, iConnect, and Relativity * Proficiency in problem recognition and solving skills * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal * Knowledge of SQL Management Studio, creating scripts and stored procedures * Possesses the desire/initiative to learn more advanced technical and design concepts * Works independently and requires minimal supervision
