Editor
The Video Editor works with Motion clients (generally top photographers, directors and agencies) and internal video production team to edit high-end video content from video shoots.
Projects include web and broadcast spots, short form editorials and music videos.
Solid experience working with video post-production software including: Final Cut Studio, Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with other post-production software, such as Adobe After Effects, Avid Media Composer and Foundry's Nuke is a plus.
Professional experience in color grading, compositing, green screen work, transcoding, encoding, compression and mastering.
Experience with sound recording, sound sweetening, and sound design a plus.
Solid knowledge with latest types of digital video formats (R3d, ArriRaw, etc).
Basic knowledge of operating and setting up FCP suite and related hardware including Apple computers, video cards and monitor calibration
Extensive knowledge and appreciation of important editors, filmmakers, directors and cinematographers work.
