While we’re known for our tires, Bridgestone Americas, Inc. also manufactures and markets a variety of other rubber products, including building and industrial products, synthetic polymers and fibers and textiles.
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the growing team at our Morrison, TN location!
Responsibilities:
Managing capital and expense projects that involve adding new equipment, modification of existing equipment, or process improvements related to the manufacturing of tire components.
This responsibility involves applying the following engineering related skills: funding requests, budgeting, safety reviews, designing, purchasing, scheduling, programming, supervising, installation, start-ups, and maintenance technical support.
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience in Programmable Logic Controller hardware, PLC ladder logic programs, programming Human Machine Interfaces and variable frequency drives (Allen Bradley experience preferred)
Capital project management experience required
AutoCAD experience in designing electrical control panels preferred
