Electrical Engineer - Product Safety
Stryker has a unique and exciting Electrical Engineering Opportunity available on our Kalamazoo, MI Campus. As Stryker continues to grow and develop products that are at the forefront of Medical Technology, an Engineer in this role will play an important part in the development of our products. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the consulting and training our people as well as the testing, and certification of our products. This Electrical Engineer will focus on Product Safety and have the opportunity to:
*Touch and influence a wide array of products in the Stryker portfolio *Become an expert and ""go to"" person in their field *Interface with many people throughout the organization and have direct influence in product development *Be part of one of Fortune Magazine's Top 100 companies to work for
Applicants who are interested in this position should have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related curriculum, working knowledge of safety / compliance / regulatory standards, and a passion to work in an influential role.
Qualifications/Work Experience
Excellent analytical & interpersonal communication skills. Ability to operate small hand tools Demonstrate electrical problem solving skills. 0-5 years related electrical / bio-electrical engineering experience.
Education and/or Special Training
• B.S. in electrical engineering or related curriculum.
