Electrical Engineer
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
Work as a member of electronic product development teams in Rockford and San Diego to provide expertise in the selection and proper application of electronic components.
Become Hamilton Sundstrand's expert in specific component families, most likely complex digital microcircuits, but developing close working relationships with and technical knowledge of Hamilton Sundstrand's significant digital microcircuit suppliers.
Assist Operations and Business Unit organizations identify and implement solutions for parts obsolescence and shortage situations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-YRS. EXPERIENCE - 1+
-EDUCATION - BSEE or similar
-INDUSTRY - Aerospace or Automotive (preferred, not required)
