Engineering Intern Territory (if applicable):
Feed Business Unit: Land O'Lakes Purina Feed LLC is North America's leading feed company, providing producers, cooperatives and dealers with an extensive line of animal feed, ingredients and services.
Position Purpose: Provide engineering support to improve and update plant specifications. Projects will include updating equipment layouts/CAD drawings, verifying plant utilities and update AutoCAD files and work with internal Maintenance Team to advance Bar Code program specific to spare parts inventory and re-order points/triggers within the CMMS.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education: Current Sophomore or above pursuing a Bachelor's degree in related program required. Must have desire to pursue a career in Engineering or Operations.
Knowledge of mechanical systems is a plus
Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Required Competencies & Other Skills: Proficient with MicroSoft Office platform
Ability to read/understand basic plant layout drawings and mechanical systems
Experience with AutoCad LT
Experience with operation of Bar Code devices and process functionality
Preferred Experience & Education:
Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment is necessary. Must be detail oriented and experience with Microsoft Office is strongly desired.
Percentage of Travel: 5%
