Job Description

Working as the Executive Assistant-Officer, you will perform advanced confidential administrative duties for one or more Board-elected officer(s). You will assist the officer in management of daily activities including:

  • Interaction with top-level contacts on highly sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact and diplomacy

  • Interaction with executive, administrative and line management personnel, external customers, large investors, board members, dignitaries, media and vendors

  • Review and prioritize communication and taking appropriate action without advance approval

  • Schedule meetings and appointments and be able to plan without advance approval

  • Compose correspondence, presentations, and reports using a variety of computer software

  • Prioritize assignments and tasks under general direction

Additional responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of administrative duties such as processing bills, vouchers, requests, payroll, personnel, and budgets

  • Coordinate requests for workspace, service, and office equipment and other programs such as charitable campaigns, employee recognition and records retention

  • Provide guidance for other executive assistants and managers in the organization regarding administrative practices

Position is located in Atlanta, GA.


Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years administrative support experience

  • Proficient in Windows based software programs (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, Visio), and others such as ExpenseNet

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and promptly complete tasks

  • Team player with strong organizational, verbal and written communications skills

  • Self-starter, detail oriented

Desired Qualifications:

  • Office Management experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
