F-16 Industrial Security Specialist Job # 13311BR City Dayton State/Province Ohio FT/PT Full Time Qty 1 Job Description ARINC in Dayton, Ohio is looking for a Industrial Security Specialist (ISS) to join our team supporting the F-16 Program office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. In this role the ISS will manage the daily activities of the security and facilities functions to ensure compliance with all Corporate, government, contractual and legal security requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the processing of personnel security clearances via JPAS, tracking and managing security clearances, visit requests, document control, access control, foreign travel requests, administer security awareness training programs, create subcontractor DD254s, and process adverse information reports. The ISS will also perform:
- oversight and administration of security programs relative to classified programs
- responsible for preparing or updating security operation plans (SOP), automated information system security plans (AISSP) and ensuring that the security plans are followed
- responsible for information security and facilitating, obtaining accreditation for AISs in classified environments
- prepare and conduct internal security inspections and assist with external inspections
- responsible for tracking and managing security clearances, visit requests, program access requests and will be responsible for document control, access control, communications security (COMSEC), and courier orders.
-Process personnel security requests (e-QIP) and maintains personnel security folders performing accurate data entry to maintain security records database.
- Perform security briefing schedule to include new hire, initial, closed area, foreign travel, exit briefings, etc.
- Process TCP visit requests, new hire packets and program access requests.
- Set up and maintain Security files, may destroy accountable and non-accountable documents.
- Input and retrieve data from security-related database management systems.
- Maintenance of all security files, reports, and correspondence as required by the Defense Security Service and other customer/regulatory agencies.
- Provide first-line customer support for Security email correspondence assessing customer requests, coordinating appropriate support activities and ensuring customer satisfaction for daily support requests.
- Interface with DSS, government customers and Contractor personnel as required. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years experience in security. The successful candidate must be familiar with all DoD security guidelines including the NISPOM, NISPOM Supplement, NISPOM Overprint, JPAS, ISFD, various DCIDs, and JAFANs.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.
EDUCATION: Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent. Amount of Travel Required for Position 0%-25%
