Fall/Winter Internship - Graphic Designer
Looking for an internship? Great, because we're looking for a multi-disciplined,graphic designer to join our creative team for this fall/winter semester. The Internship: As a boutique branding and advertising agency, projects you'll be involved ininclude branding projects,website and ad (print/web) layout/design, production mechanicals, art searches andideation. Tasks willchange as projects change, so you'll learn the art of adapting and juggling, which is key in our fast-paced industry! Working alongside Art Directors, you'llnot only gain real world experience, but produced projects for your book that you've had a hand in. You won't be fetching Starbucks in this internship. Position is guranteed through the end of this yearwiththe opportunity to extend past that. Must be able to work a minimum of 24 hours a week with a set, consistent schedule. (3 days or time split throughout the week.) Position is eligable forcredit, should you arrange this with your school. Position is unpaid, but offers unlimited coffee, Diet Coke and a daily travel/food stipend of $30 per full day.We are looking to fill this internship by September 3rd. Must Haves: A strong portfolio that showcases a variety of projects ranging fromidentity toprint and web design with a clean, simple design aesthetic. Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Self-motivated and opening to learning. Comfortable working for a small company with a small team. Strong communication skills, a problem solver and embraces constructive criticism. Creative, enthusiastic and has a sense of humor. Fluent in English. A basic working knowledge of Flash, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Java as well as content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal would be a bonus! Interested?
