Family Practice Physician
Professional Performance Development Group is now interviewing Family Practice Physicians for the Family Practice Clinic at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
The ideal candidate will: • Provide technical direction to, perform with, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals. • Promote preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling. • Request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated. • Prescribe and dispense medications as delineated by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess: • Two (2) years experience within the last three (3) years as a full-time Family Practitioner. • Successful completion of a residency program in Family Practice. • A current, valid, unrestricted license as a Physician, in one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. • Board certification in Family Practice as determined by their respective American Boards or American Osteopathic Association. • Have graduated from a medical school approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association OR certification by the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
