Game Day Operations Internship/Program (Sports Management/Operations)
Team seeks a highly motivated individual capable of assisting in the operation of the club's overall game operations and team management. He or she will work very closely with the Soccer Operations Coordinator and various team staff in their daily game day activities. This position entails a great deal of organization and attentiveness to detail considering the vast scope of the internship/program and provides first-hand experience of the day-to-day workings of professional sports teams operations.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist in the preparation of game days and special soccer events including but not limited to locker rooms and field setup
Assist in managing teams, officials and groups in association to each game and/or event
Help in the coordination of external volunteer groups assisting at each match
Assist in the operations of the game and/or event including but not limited to team liaison, scoreboard operation, stretcher crew and team runner
Assist the Soccer Operations Coordinator in various tasks and functions as they arise
Other duties as assigned
Due to the cyclical nature of the sports and entertainment industry, the employee will be asked to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company, including weekends and evenings which will be discussed at the time of application

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
The ideal candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities:
Must be available on a part-time basis, committing to the majority of games throughout the season
Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a sense of accountability
Knowledge and passion of the sport of soccer is preferred
The successful candidate would be personable, dependable, trustworthy and possess strong interpersonal skills
Ideal candidate is bi-lingual (English and Spanish / Portuguese)
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
If participating for an internship program, please note they are for academic credit only and are unpaid
If participating as a volunteer program no academic credit is required
Additional relevant education, training or experience is a bonus
